Alice and Other Heroes
"A dreamy, other-worldy encounter between film and live music."
Presented by Longest Night Society, in cooperation with Northern Town Films and the VANOC 2010 Cultural Olympiad, Alice and Other Heroes is a touring stage production that integrates short films with a live music ensemble.
At the centre are excerpts from the stop-animation classic Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Czech film-maker Jan Svankmajer.
Performances are March 11, 2010 at the Yukon Arts Centre, Whitehorse, and March 17 and 18 at Performance Works in Vancouver.

Directed by Daniel Janke, the stage production features an ensemble of 8 musicians comprised of core members of the Longest Night Ensemble, and Vancouver-based artists.
